On April 6th, 2015 we lost our friend, brother, son, nephew, inspirational leader, Brian T. Rozelle, after a tremendous battle against bile-duct cancer, he was 30 years old.
Brian was a relentless athlete and tireless friend; he has been incredibly missed, but he left an unforgettable legacy that his friends and family will cherish forever.
In his own words, Brian said that Cycle for Survival saved his life. Cycle for Survival is the national movement to beat rare cancers where the majority of the money raised by our foundation is donated to. When he was most down, the Cycle for Survival fundraising events and the hope they inspired, helped him to continue fighting. In his two years of leading Team RozelleStrong, he raised over $150,000 for rare cancer research and became a national ambassador for Cycle for Survival.
Since Brian's passing we have continued the battle against rare cancers by forming the RozelleStrong Foundation in honor of Brian where we have raised over $250,000 in our first 2 years. His 2 favorite things in the world were hanging out with friends and golfing. In remembering this, we started the RozelleStrong Memorial Golf Tournament along with other fundraising events that include all of his closest friends and people that have been inspired by Brian's life.
The majority of the funds raised by the RozelleStrong Foundation goes to Cycle for Survival who donates 100% of the funds to Sloan Kettering Memorial Hospital in New York.
